Reviews & Comments
The Brahms is performed...with the greatest sympathy; the Haydn work and its performance are full of enchanting elegance and The Four Seasons shows Miss Magub at the peak of her form: a brilliant reading splendidly supported by the Helios Orchestra. Happily recommended.

The programme illustrates three very different styles: Baroque (Vivaldi), Classical (Haydn) and Romantic (Brahms) which is a good test of the versatility of Maya Magub who here shows that she has this versatility in an outstanding way.
Very highly recommended.

On hearing the recording Ian Milnes commented: "The performance of my Brass Sextet of 1972 is one of the finest I've ever heard of any composer's music, both moving and thrilling, and in an excellently varied, thoroughly enjoyable concert, recorded well..."
